Below you will find a bit of information about us, our philosophy, our style of photography and a brief explanation of the wedding photo shoots we do.

We are a team of two people, Adrian Bonet and Ivonne Velazquez, a photographic duo with more than 10 years of experience. In recent years, we have worked in Mexico and Europe, making wedding photo shoots for couples from all over the world.

One of our main goals is to offer our clients the best quality possible. In order to achieve this, we limit the number of weddings we do each year, thus devoting all the necessary time to each project, offering greater exclusivity.

We have moved away from traditional wedding photography and have opted for a highly qualified service that combines technical precision with artistic sensibility. Our wedding photography aims to capture all the esthetic beauty possible while telling a story at the same time. This characteristic makes us an interesting alternative for those couples who are looking for something ‘special’.

Our style

Our style forms part of a photography trend called Creative Wedding Photojournalism, which is a combination of documentary photography and creative photography.

Documentary photography is based on the idea that the photographer should capture the moment as it is, without manipulating or modifying it. The idea is capturing the reality in a truthful way, not creating an artificial reality. Because of this, we interfere as little as possible in the development of the event and let things happen naturally.

On the other hand, we complement this documentary photography with creative photography, which in our case consists in working with the color and composition of the image with the goal of expressing the sensations and emotions of each moment.

A balanced combination of these two trends allows us to capture in depth all of the moments in a wedding, in its documentary aspect as well as in its emotional aspect.

Photographic shoots

We do 2 types of photo shoots: the Basic Wedding Photo Shoot and the Complete Wedding Photo Shoot.

Basic Wedding Photo Shoot

This photo shoot lasts for a maximum of 5 hours, it is short but intense. Photos are taken of the most important moments; the getting ready at the bride and groom’s hotel, the whole ceremony, the portraits of the newlyweds, photographs with the guests and the appetizer. We recommend this for shorter weddings since it is much more economical than the Complete Wedding Photo Shoot.

Complete Wedding Photo Shoot

This lasts for a maximum of 10 hours and covers the whole event; from the initial preparations at the bride and groom’s hotel to the dancing and discotheque at the end of the night. Photos are taken of all the moments of the day; the getting ready at the bride and groom’s hotel, the whole ceremony, portraits of the newlyweds, photographs with the guests, the appetizer, dinner, dancing and the final party. This is the most requested option for longer weddings.

We see the wedding photo shoots as team work; we are always two photographers in all of the weddings. This allows us to consider two points of view, two different angles for each situation. This way, we achieve more diversity of images and therefore, the photographic reports are much more complete.

All of the photos are retouched one by one, processed to have the best results and they are handed in with high resolution on a USB-Drive without digital watermarking or protection, this way it can be freely used without restrictions.

The resolution of the photos is 50 megapixels and the files are handed in as JPG so that any PC or Mac can easily open them.

Albums

Currently, there are many types of wedding albums. The different types of albums are distinguished by the way they are bounded and especially by the way the photos are integrated onto the pages.

Among the three types of albums there are the traditional albums where the photos are glued, the albums where the photos are matted and digital albums. The digital albums, also called ‘flush mount albums’, have the photos integrated on each page of the album, these are the most popular albums in recent years and are the ones we offer.

We fundamentally have opted for the digital album with a simple but elegant design. This chosen design is result of a totally conscious decision. We firmly believe that a simple design is timeless, without the risk of it becoming out of style after the passing of years.

Precisely because the album should last for many years we have to be aware of the importance of the design and the materials used.

The materials of our albums are of the highest quality. We use professional quality paper, the binding is done by hand and all of the pages are sewn continuously. This process guarantees a high permanence of the color of the photographs and a solid binding resistant to use and the passing of time.

On the other hand, the materials used for the outer part of the album must also be selected, this way we are able to create a fully custom design. We have a wide variety of leathers, fabrics with different textures, colors and materials. This is an important characteristic of current albums, since being able to choose from different kinds of materials opens a wide array of possibilities.

The work of designing the album isn’t something the bride and groom usually do, since it requires specific knowledge about the material. Because of this, we always take care of the whole process, from the layout to the binding. Of course, we always offer the bride and groom a large variety of designs to choose from and we are open to suggestions.

Security and Guarantees

Carrying out a wedding photo shoot is a big responsibility, because a wedding is a unique event. To deal with possible contingencies beyond our control, we take different security measures:

Safety in the realization

We always carry our gear doubled, 2 identical cameras and different lenses that allow us to have a spare in case of mechanical failure of our equipment.

Safety in storage

All weddings are stored with 3 copies on high security hard disks, and we also keep a copy in a high secure server online. This means that we are covered for accidents, technical failure, theft, fire or other disaster that may arise.
