Gail Sagel, CEO of FACES Beautiful® and author of Making Faces Beautiful, is very passionate about the beauty industry and strives to make beauty easy for women. Gail truly understands that destinies don’t take a straight path. Her background is unique, combining leadership in manufacturing and retailing cosmetic products after a successful career as a Wall Street trader. After graduating from the University of Maryland’s School of Business, Gail began her career as a trader on Wall Street. Her experience on Wall Street and understanding of the corporate world lends invaluable expertise in analyzing risk versus reward, with the initiative to always strengthen profitability. Although she was considerably successful, she found that her life lacked creativity and she often felt stifled in her work environment. Gail soon realized the world of beauty was her true calling.
Gail is an award-winning brand strategist who has successfully launched and developed FACES Beautiful®, a one-stop beauty retail concept store located in Westport, CT, an online store and a cosmetics brand. Her company, FACES Beautiful® is an eight-time recipient of Best of Westport and she has been recognized by the National Association of Professional Women. Her brand’s most popular product, the “Brush-On” Liquid Mineral Makeup is every woman’s clutch makeup product and received the 1 st place beauty award for the best foundation as chosen by the expert panel of Bella Magazine. Gail, a makeup artist herself, has created a unique niche by teaching women her quick, easy-to do-makeup techniques for a beautiful face. Her makeup book not only teaches women how to looka little more beautiful, but how to feel beautiful everyday by inspiring self-confidence all with a little female humor.
